Delivery & returns

Where we deliver

We deliver to all 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland. Packs and bundles go by courier; pallet quantities go on a pallet network with a tail-lift vehicle. Deliveries to Northern Ireland and offshore islands are quoted individually — contact us before ordering.

Charges

• Orders over €250 (incl. VAT): free delivery to mainland Republic of Ireland addresses.
• Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Wicklow: €9.50 per order for packs and bundles.
• Rest of Leinster, Munster, Connacht, Ulster (ROI): €14.50 per order for packs and bundles.
• Pallet deliveries: quoted by weight and county at the time of order.
• Collection from our Dublin 22 yard: free, Mon-Fri 8.00-17.30, Sat 9.00-13.00. Please ring ahead so the order is picked and ready.

Lead times

Stock items ordered and confirmed before 12.00 noon on a working day are normally dispatched the same day for next working day delivery in Leinster, and one to three working days elsewhere in the Republic. Long lengths over 2m and full pallets may take an extra day on the pallet network.

We will always tell you the expected date when we confirm your order. If a line is temporarily out of stock we say so before taking payment rather than after.

Placing an order

Send your requirement through the contact form, by email or by phone. We reply with a written quotation covering goods, VAT and delivery to your address. Once you confirm, we take payment by bank transfer or card over the phone, and we issue a VAT invoice. Trade accounts with 30 day terms are available to established landscaping, agricultural and hire businesses on application.

Checking your delivery

Please check the quantity and sizes on arrival and note any visible damage on the carrier's paperwork. Tell us about shortages or transit damage within three working days of delivery so we can put it right and claim against the carrier.

Returns and cancellations

Consumers. Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013, if you are buying as a consumer at a distance you may cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, and you then have a further 14 days to return them. Tell us by email or phone. Goods must be unused and in a resaleable condition. We refund the purchase price and standard outbound delivery within 14 days of receiving the goods back. Return carriage is at your cost unless the goods were faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Business customers. Returns of correctly supplied stock items are accepted within 14 days by prior agreement and may be subject to a restocking charge where goods have been out of the yard. Cut-to-length, treated-to-order and special-order items are not returnable.

Faulty or incorrect goods. If we send the wrong item, or an item is defective, we collect it at our cost and either replace it or refund it in full, at your choice. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

Natural variation in timber

Timber is a natural material. Small knots, minor shakes, colour variation from preservative treatment, and dimensional tolerances of a few millimetres are normal and are not defects. If a stake is bowed enough to be unusable, we replace it — just tell us.
