Who we are

What we collect
- Enquiry details you type into our contact form: name, email address, phone number, delivery county, product of interest and your message.
- Order details if you go on to buy: billing and delivery address, and the goods ordered. Card payments are taken by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
- Basic server logs generated automatically when a page is requested: IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser type. These are used for security and to diagnose faults.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party profiling scripts on this site. The only third-party resource the site loads is a web font from Google Fonts, which is used for typography only.
Why we are allowed to use it
- To answer your enquiry and quote you a price — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To fulfil and invoice an order — performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep tax and accounting records — legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep the website secure — our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Article 6(1)(f)).
Who we share it with
Only where necessary to do the job: our delivery carriers (name, address, phone for the delivery), our payment provider, our accountants, and our web hosting provider. All are bound by contract to process data only on our instructions. We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area other than where a provider offers standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become orders: 12 months.
- Order and invoice records: 6 years, as required by Irish tax law.
- Server logs: 30 days.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It uses no cookie at all for ordinary browsing. If we add analytics in future we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, ask us to restrict or object to its processing, and ask for it in a portable format. Email sales@stakes4you.com and we will respond within one month.
